American Petroleum Institute (API)
DEFendal™ Diesel Exhaust Fluid is formally approved by the American Petroleum Institute (API). This means that the fluid can be used for all diesel engines that utilize SCR technology (DEF). DEFendal™ Diesel Exhaust Fluid has been through the all the rigorous tests by the API. For SCR units to operate properly, an API approved fluid will be specified by the OEM. DEFendal™ Diesel Exhaust Fluid meets all the performance standards published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) as a part of this formal approval process. It is always recommended that customers only use API approved fluids.
